I'm grateful that my dad is healthy and receiving treatment. He's been sick for a while and is severely immunocompromised, so I'm extremely grateful that he, and everyone else in my family, haven't gotten COVID. It's been a hard year, but at least he's getting help.

My friends and the new life I'm living now, because even though COVID has made my life so much harder, it's also so much better in so many ways.

I am thankful for the love that surrounds me all of the time. During the beginning of COVID, I was extremely upset and felt very alone. Now, I can recognize the people that care for me and embrace the love I get. It makes me happy to know that at least one person cares for me everyday.

I am very grateful for the opportunity UMF has given me to live and study on campus. It has been scary and a bit confusing at times but I know the experiences I’ve had here are important and I am glad I didn’t miss them. The independence I’ve gained in the last couple of months had been wonderful. I am actually upset to go home this winter break. I love the environment here. I am excited to come back next semester!
