• The people who care about me and help me through hard times

  • My dog Delilah, she makes me smile and laugh daily.

  • BFFs Hannah & Selina

  • I’m thankful that all my friends and family stayed safe this year.

  • Movie night with my second floor roomies

  • Making chocolates with Mom

  • I'm grateful that my dad is healthy and receiving treatment. He's been sick for a while and is severely immunocompromised, so I'm extremely grateful that he, and everyone else in my family, haven't gotten COVID. It's been a hard year, but at least he's getting help.

  • My friends and the new life I'm living now, because even though COVID has made my life so much harder, it's also so much better in so many ways.

  • I am thankful for laughter, even in challenging times.

  • I am thankful for the love that surrounds me all of the time. During the beginning of COVID, I was extremely upset and felt very alone. Now, I can recognize the people that care for me and embrace the love I get. It makes me happy to know that at least one person cares for me everyday.

  • I am very grateful for the opportunity UMF has given me to live and study on campus. It has been scary and a bit confusing at times but I know the experiences I’ve had here are important and I am glad I didn’t miss them. The independence I’ve gained in the last couple of months had been wonderful. I am actually upset to go home this winter break. I love the environment here. I am excited to come back next semester!

  • This semester has been difficult but has also created unexpected opportunities.
